How do you improve on the award winning Aston Martin DB11?
You dig deep into what made the original a success, then blow the roof off! DB11 Volante is the third iteration of the DB11, in 2017 the V12 Coupe was introduced, followed by the V8 Coupe for 2018, The much anticipated 2019 Volante model introduced in October 2017 proved that DB11 is the most exciting drop-top GT on the planet. Throughout the process, I project managed the Colour & Materials design and development with a simple repeated request: “Imagine if the owner was admiring their car while fueling up”. That idea helped the team of Trimmers, Engineers and Modelers, to visualise new areas of importance. Ideas unique to the Volante, including adding more feature into the rear seat environment, making the car even more precious than the Coupe. On the DB11 Volante, when the top goes down, the BEAUTY goes up.
