COLOR & MATERIALS DESIGN: GENERAL MOTORS GLOBAL EXTERIOR PAINT

As a Senior Color & Materials Designer for GM’s Global Exterior Paint Studio, I was responsible for creating new finishes applied to all CHEVROLET, CADILLAC, BUICK and GMC brands for the 2017 and 2018 model years. This included working with multiple paint and pigment suppliers to craft appealing finishes for all Passenger Car, Sports Car, Truck, SUV and Crossover vehicles. Inspired through intense color trend and targeted customer research, I collaborated with colleagues from the six GM Design Studios to design spectacular new exterior finishes for GM's global vehicle paint color palette. Unveiled on multiple models starting in Autumn 2016, these paint finishes I crafted, have been selected on hundreds of thousands of vehicle purchases globally.

“THE ART OF COLOR” 2017 EXTERIOR COLOR SHOW (Executive Multimedia Presentation) As the majority of our developments for 2017 were “fashion colors”, the Global Paint Development Team decided to roll out the new colors to top level GM executives as a runway style “fashion show”. Alongside designing and developing the paints, one of my tasks for the show was to create a multimedia presentation, Images above are still photos from that show. Utilizing curated music and motion graphics aligned with each color proposal, I crafted a presentation to be a backdrop and set the tone and mood for the 2017 show
