Based on the Aston Martin Racing cars that dominate the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) series, the two AMR show cars unveiled at Geneva in 2017 were the perfect canvas to unveil the new AMR Brand and amplify the sporting prowess present across the model range. As Colour & Materials Lead in charge of Project Management or both of these show car builds, it was crucial to design them as spectacular show cars, but also keep them production feasible in-line with the new brand values of the AMR brand. Both cars received critical acclainm at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, and their production versions (including the Inner & Outer matching racing stripes) quickly sold out.
